Exterior Wall Biocide Treatment in Sligo – Before & After

CleanSafe was asked to treat this exterior rendered wall, which had developed widespread organic staining and green-grey discolouration from exposure to the elements.

The wall was treated using an appropriate professional biocide treatment designed to target organic growth without relying on aggressive high-pressure cleaning of the rendered surface.

The Condition Before Treatment

The render showed extensive organic staining, particularly across the more exposed upper sections and along areas where moisture had tracked down the wall. The underlying render also had some existing cracks and minor surface defects, which were left clearly visible rather than disguised by the cleaning process.

The Result After Treatment

A significant improvement was visible following treatment, with the heavy organic discolouration greatly reduced and the original appearance of the render restored.

Because this was a biocide treatment, the result shown here is not necessarily the final appearance. Remaining dead organic contamination and staining will continue to weather away naturally over time, so the surface will continue to improve following treatment.
